Frequently asked questions.

What does designing my trip with TIC look like?

Working with us means every element of your trip is thoughtfully curated around you. We begin with a personal consultation to understand your exact needs and vision. Once you’ve chosen to move forward and our agreement is in place, we begin crafting your fully personalized itinerary—designed entirely around your travel style, preferences, and priorities. From accommodations and private transfers to cultural experiences, guides, and reservations, every element is intentionally curated and organized with care.

Your trip is presented as a complete travel package—designed to flow seamlessly from start to finish. We’ll share your custom itinerary for review and make refinements as needed. Once you confirm your hotel among a handpicked selection by us and key preferences, we’ll move forward with securing all the logistical elements of your trip. You’ll receive a complete itinerary with everything laid out clearly—so all you have to do is show up and enjoy— hassle-free.

Flights are the only piece we leave in your hands—we take care of the rest.

Do you assist with flights?

While we don’t book flights directly, we’re happy to guide you on the best arrival and departure airports based on your itinerary. We also offer suggestions for flight timing to ensure smooth connections with your travel plans.

What if I already have my hotels booked?

To ensure every detail flows seamlessly, we only work with clients who are booking their full trip—including accommodations—through us. This allows us to craft a truly cohesive itinerary where logistics, location, and pacing are aligned from start to finish.

Do you offer villa rentals?

Yes! We work with trusted partners to find exceptional villas in regions all over Italy and other locations in Southern Europe. Whether it’s for a special celebration or a relaxed family or friends gathering, we’ll help you find the perfect property based on your needs, group size, and style.

I already have my trip booked—can you just help with recommendations during our free time?

Because of the time, thought, and care that goes into creating our itineraries, we work exclusively with clients who are looking for complete trip planning from start to finish— including accommodations. Our service is designed to ensure that all elements of your experience are intentionally connected and seamlessly executed, rather than working around a pre-set schedule.

Do you plan travel for groups or special occasions?

Absolutely. Whether it’s an intimate celebration or a larger group experience, we love designing bespoke travel for gatherings of all sizes. From multi-generational families and milestone trips (like honeymoons, birthdays, and anniversaries) to corporate retreats, incentive travel, and team bonding getaways, we create seamless, personalized itineraries that suit the needs and dynamics of your group. Whether fully escorted or independent, every detail is thoughtfully crafted from start to finish.

How far in advance should I reach out to start planning?

We recommend reaching out at least 6 months in advance, particularly for peak travel seasons like spring and summer. The earlier we begin, the more flexibility and availability we’ll have when curating your accommodations and experiences. While we have worked with clients on shorter timelines, last-minute planning significantly limits what can be secured—and is considered on a case-by-case basis depending on our availability.

How much does designing a custom itinerary cost?

Pricing varies depending on the length of your trip, the number of travelers, and the level of support involved. After our initial consultation, we’ll provide a personalized quote based on the scope of your itinerary. All of our trips are offered as full-service travel packages, with everything thoughtfully bundled into one clear price—so you know exactly what to expect, without the stress of piecing things together.

Sharing a general budget early on is always helpful as it allows us to align the quality of accommodations, experiences, and dining with your expectations—and ensures that what we present reflects your comfort level and vision from the start.
